There are many individuals in extreme poverty do to diverse degenerative illnesses, that have been discharged from the hospital for the sake of convenience.

Many times these persons are young.  They could be destined to be marginalized and finish their lives in misery, do to rejection and neglect.

Because of this reality, the desire has risen to build a Temporary Refuge for Abandoned Terminally Ill.
